Making a duck pond with a skip loader

Anyone here have experience using a tractor to dig an 18-24" duck pond? We just got a 70hp skip loader with a scraper box with rippers and would like to build a 2 acre duck pond. Can anyone help me out and tell me if this is even possible doing with this setup. Thanks

I don't see any reason not to. I dug my 1/3 acre tank up to 12' deep with an 82HP skid loader. Might want to think of something creative to do with the dirt you dig out, though...rifle range backstops, etc. That is what I did with part of mine.
