We're back. Dog gone it's hot here after being in temps in the 60's for 10 days. We saw Dall sheep, Mountain goats, grizzlies,caribou,whales and a lots of beautiful flowers. The rent car ended up with 1600 miles on it and we logged several hours on boats and buses over the 10 days. Alaska is an awesome state. If they had whitetail I might consider moving except when I checked on hunting Grizzlies and sheep and found the cost would near 100,000.00, whew that's a lot of moola. It was beautiful and we brought back lots of fish and great memories. We will go again.

Chew, not sure what the price is for locals. That's the price a local told me it would cost for a decent hunt. He did say there were some cheaper but he wouldn't suggest going with those outfitters.
