San Angelo area hunters thread....

Like it says in the title.....if you hunt in and around San Angelo speak up and lets keep up with each others' season much like the Mexico thread. It should help us with conditions, weather, rut etc etc. Post up where you hunt near (no GPS coordinates lol) and share TC pics, hunts, conditions, weather and of course LDPs...

My group hunts south of Christoval and I'm starting year 8 on our place...I'll post up a few TC pics here in a bit but just wanted to get the thread started.

We hunt off of 158 out of ballinger about ten miles and deer looked good as of a month ago
No super studds on camera but 3 that might
Break 135 or 140....
Ground still looked good but could use some

Here. We are near Water Valley. Got all feeders running, hand corn spots being hit weekly and blinds all cleaned up. Still need fence repair.

We are south of San Angelo in Christoval. This thread is going to be good....... But there are NO deer in the San Angelo area!

I am about 25 miles northeast in SE Coke county. Just about ready to fill the feeders and set up cameras. Once it rains I will plant the wheat and will know what is the in the neighborhood shortly thereafter. I haven't seen any bucks close to my place yet but saw a couple of nice ones on the Goodyear proving grounds a few weeks back.
