    Sleep Number Beds?

My wife and I were thinking about one but really wanted some feedback from someone that had one. Figured the green screen is a good place to start.

Anyone have experience with them? Are they worth the price?

    Thanks!

Never owned one but a hotel we stayed in last weekend had them. Actually worked pretty good. I slept great on it and I usually don't sleep well at all in hotels.

Plus it is also fun to jack with the number on your wife's side with the remote control. I dropped my wife's side all the way to 0 over the course of 20 minutes. She didn't even notice until she tried to get out of bed. It was like trying to climb out of a waterbed LOL

We bought the split version with the adjustable head and feet settings. It also has the massage function. We really like it and think it was worth the money. My wife has back issues and we like totally different beds (firmness, pillow top, etc...)

It was a good buy for us.

We've had one going on 6 years now and we still love it. It helped me out a ton right before and now after my back surgery.

I've had my side cranked to 100 for about 6 or 7 months now, and I actually have less stiffness in my back when I get out of bed.

Have had one for almost 10 years and we love it. Thinking about trying to trade it in for the one that adjusts like a hospital bed.
          Well worth the money.

I have tryed a lot of nights in lots of Hotels with every number on the dial. I wouldn't keep it if it was free. glad when Raddison Hotel got rid of them.

                  Everybody's back is different

My good friend had a SN bed for 5 yrs and got rid of it

He bought a TP and has been happy ever since

It all depends on what feels best for you

Bought one, tried it out and sent it back. No matter how I set it, it killed my back, and my wife felt the same way. Boxing that puppy back up and shipping it back was one of the biggest PITA's I've ever had to deal with. Good riddance.

Glad some folks love theirs. I wish we had so we didn't have to go through all that trouble for nothing.

Had one for 3 weeks and sent it back. Heard so many good things about them we had to try it. We went to the sleep# store and tried them out. It seemed ok in the store but two nights after setting ours up I knew it wasn't going to work. I really wanted it to work out so we kept it a few weeks thinking it would grow on us. That never happened, it was terrible, and got worse. The last thing I wanted was to have to pack all that up and send it back, but there was no way I'd ever sleep another night on that thing. To me it's just an extremely overpriced air mattress. One side leaked down each night and the one that didn't felt no different than any normal air mattress.

One of the couples that told us about it still says its the best purchase they've ever made so I understand how there are so many mixed reviews. I guess enough folks like them to keep them in business but I'm not sure how. I learned a good lesson in researching a product after my ordeal. There are a LOT of bad reviews out there... but you dang sure wont see them on their website.

Good luck and I hope you have a better experience than I did!

We had been having problems finding beds. I was a tight wad and bought a tempurpedic. Kept it for 30 days and hated it. We bought the sleep number and we both like. My wife is the complete opposite of me.
