    Very nice pics and comments.

The only one I've weighed was that field dressed rifle killed hog. Outside of a few we killed out on the trinity river bottom, rifles too, I've never seen one close to it.

My average should be pretty low since I don't discriminate against the ones that fit through cattle panel squares. Have shot quite a few over the years that were over 300 on calf scales, mostly barrs and the occasional boar, but most are 80-150.

The Noble Foundation did a study and found the average feral hog weighed 110 pounds for sows and 130 pounds for boars. We find our experience is right in line with that.

Most of mine avg about 150 with the occasional beast thrown in. My biggest trapped went 340 and the biggest one I shot was this guy that went 405+. I am 6'4" and weigh 290. Shot the other one this week. I know he is over 200 but didn't weigh him.

Most we kill run between 100 to 130 pounds, a few boars over that but pretty solid in that range, so an average would be 115 on our place

We have killed 2 large ones over the years. That said, both were only marginally wild. One was being actively fed by a neighbor (he decided to free range his hogs and we got fed up with the damage - since they were not marked, we were good to go on killing it). The other was a barrow - so obviously had escaped from someones pen (or they were trying to free range it as well).

Feed them well and they will get big.

Seldom weigh them. But the boars in Centerville I kill seem to average 160 lbs.
Biggest sow I weighed was 205.
gonna weigh the bigger ones from now on.
Have to agree with above poster about big boars Most of mine were at dusk, after dark, or right at dawn except in a breeding
                  Squealing, fighting group.

                    Feral hog average weight? 200+

This one weighed 289 this spring, biggest is a 308lber., until anyone see a 300lb hog on the hoof, they dont quite understand how big one actually is lol looks like a small buffalo. If the everyday common person saw this pig run across the road in front of them they would think he weighed 500lbs

I screwed up bc I told my wife I wouldn't shoulder mount one unless it went over 200lbs and killed with a bow.

It may turn in to a quest!

I have a few on camera that would go 350, you only see those at night.
                        Most I get are 80 to 150,
I have a feeder 100 yards from the cabin, with a motion light. Those 300 plus are there about 3 in the morning while draining the lizard

The ones in sounders run up to about 125#, with the matriarch running quite a bit more. The old solitary boars are the big 250-300# ones. At least that's on my place, YMMV.

Yep. My average is probably 100-110lbs. My biggest was 316lbs ( rifle ). Biggest with a bow is 170lbs. These are actual weights. Not internet pic weights. My son killed one a few months ago ( I put him on it and we stalked it ) that was 192lbs. I dont care what anyone says, a real 200lbr is a dang big pig. My 316lb was a monster, the biggest I have ever seen in real life. I believe that you will find that the more pigs a person kills the more you can believe the weights they tell you.

Biggest hog I have personally killed was 309#

Sow with 9 piglets in her that were ready to hit the ground. Shot her with a .22Mag at about 10' over the dogs. All I could see was her head sticking out from behind the tree.

I have killed a few over 200# with my bow

Tried to get this one with my bow and could have killed him many times with a gun but just wanted to outsmart him

Neighbor let somebody come hunt for some meat and they shot him. Claimed 400#+ but I think he would scare 300# pretty good
