So the side business that my wife started about 1-2 months ago has taken off pretty good and were making decent money in the evenings after work. I told her we should invest back into the company and expand our services so it doesn't run flat. (Long term goal is for her to be able to work from home when we have kids) Last night she asked me why don't we buy the equipment to hydrodip? Not to knock the people on here who already have a hydrographics business, I'm not trying to become your competitor. I'm just curious as to how much it cost to get set up. We're not looking to dip real big stuff like atv parts or anything. Just a few small things like Ramblers, coolers, gun stocks, skulls, and whatever little cutesy things she comes up with. How much money am I looking to invest in all this?

First thing I would recommend is to go to one of the training classes. There are a few different companies that provide training. Usually around $750 for the initial training. It is more involved than you might think. Then decide from there if you want to pursue it.
Here is a couple of forums dedicated to hydrographics. Take some time to look them over, then schedule the training.
k2forums.com is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, k2forums.com has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!
Both of these companies provide training.
