    What Tablet?

I've been thinking about getting a tablet but know very little about them. I'm hoping the green screen can help me out.

The two things I'm going to use it for are, searching the web and saving pictures from my camera.

    No calling or no games.

The two I have looked at are the Samsung A and Samsung S.

I want at least a 9 inch screen.

    Can someone help me out.

I've got a pile of cheap no-name tablets that don't work anymore. My next one will be a Samsung tab s or an Acer convertible.

Image a kindle fire and it's pretty good. Also have 2 iPads that are hands down better but more expensive of course. If you want great quality and more options I've go with an iPad. You can load pics onto them and do lots of searching

Big Chief always worked well for me, but then again I'm getting old.

            Microsoft Surface

Microsoft Surface. I got the the first one the RT when it came out and it still works great. comes with Microsoft office: word, excel, PowerPoint so if your work stuff is on that system it can be a great asset when traveling. Best accessories: keyboard actually connects to tablet.
I bought a 30" monitor for my house and just plug a usb cord set the Tablet aside and get a wireless keyboard and mouse and its turns into a regular desktop.... The newer ones have different screen size, storage sizes, and are probably a lot faster. which changes the price up. but worth it.
My fiancé has a Imac desktop, 2 imac laptops, an Ipad, and a Iphone. Some people love their imacs and I have nothing against them, but
I have my tablet and phone and it pretty much is my desktop (buy a monitor), laptop (buy attachable keyboard) and tablet

Just be sure you work out how you're going to transfer trail cam pics to the tablet. Can be a pain in the butt and very slow.

That's why I'm still holding on to an old Toshiba Thrive tablet with the full size SD card slot.

I've had an iPad 4 for 2 years. Still works great. It's also great for looking at game came pictures.

Had a Toshiba thrive first, now have a samsung that I got for Christmas. I don't use them to do any serious work so my next will be a Kindle. They all do basically the same thing so I won't spend money on a "premium" machine. My observations for my use habits. YMMV

Test as many as you can. I like my brothers tablet, but I can't remember what it is. It has a full size sd card slot for game can pics. But, my wife has an iPad mini and I'll be using that with an SD reader this season. I love looking at game can pics, and checking cameras is a great way to kill time in the stand
