Back to back Jr. angler!!!

Little man said he's going for a "hat trip" next time, like on hockey!!! Fished the crappie anglers of Texas tourney again at Fork this weekend and we got whipped up pretty good. Had a great prefishing trip 2 weeks early and it got much tougher every trip after! Now per if that's because I won't fish a spot again once I decide to fish it on tourney day but still. I fished a couple hours thurs and friday and didn't catch a keeper crappie either trip! Probably 20 short fish and who knows how many trash fish. We managed to have 15 keepers by weigh in but only had 7 still alive so we didn't have any to cull through but it wouldn't have mattered anyhow. It was good enough for him to win Jr Angler again and we got some baits for saddest 7 fish stringer and some money for closest to 7lbs. All in all a good day on the water! Next one is on Cedar Creek. Looking forward to it and cooler weather that comes with the fall crappie bite! Haven't picked up my bow in 6 months but will probably get bit by that big soon enough!!

Todd at Thermocline Lures hooks him up every time! I tried to just hand the check to his wife Belinda cause she was gonna end up with it anyway. She said wait and let Langdon give it to me. So we woke em up early Sunday am before we went to church to to burn through his check and some birthday money he had! Least he's letting his dad pic the baits for him now. Using them might be a different story though! I'm glad he likes fishing so much, beats the heck outta sitting on a bench watching kids pick flowers and chase a soccer ball around. Least to me, but I'm a grumpy old man.
