Any of yall heard of Chris Stapleton? I stumbled across his music on Pandora, and man let me tell ya its good stuff! He now is probably one of my favorite singers. If you havent heard of him check it out!

he's awesome! HUGE fan. He has written a lot of songs, but more famous for Drink A Beer. He actually sings backup harmony on the awards show that Luke Bryan debuted it.

The wife and I saw him at Willie's picnic this year. I hadn't heard of him before. He blew me away with his music! I also like Sturgill Simpson. I can't stand the pop crap they pawn off as country. With some new blood Nashville music is finally beginning to point in the right direction.

Americana is where most of the Texas stuff fits in along with Chris Stapleton, shovels and rope, Chris knight, corb Lund, and all the stuff like that. The best genre out there in my opinion.
