Deer Corn in Crockett

Going to Crockett this weekend to do some work. Anyone know the cheapest place to buy corn in Crockett, or along Hwy 19 between Crockett and Huntsville?

I take 19 to my lease in Lovelady. There's a feed store in Trinity, Stubbs, but he usually runs high on his. I think I called a few weeks ago and it was $7-8 for a 50# bag.

If you have a buccees close by I picked up a load at $5.90 per 50#.

My BIL lives in Crockett. When he responds I'll let you know his recommendation.

This... and we always check HEB in Crockett 1st. They tend to be pretty good on the prices and sometimes have the much sought after apple flavored Mummies corn. They even have some coupons that you can use at different times of the year. But... keep this a secret - not many people know that E. Texas deer like the apple flavored corn!

I don't know how much longer the drive is but if you take 59 North out of Houston to 287 in Corrigan you can get it @ WB feed in Leggett for $5.95/50.

BIL said Crockett Farm and Fuel usually has the best prices.

I'd shop around: Brookshires in Trinity, HEB/Wally World/Tractor Supply/Farm and Fuel in Crockett.

Stubbs is convenient and his guys will load it for you, just going to pay a little more.
