I'm looking into them myself but leaning more towards the Browning Maxus.

I put quite a few rounds through one Sunday. Shot pretty good. Jammed once out of about 125 rounds. And it was clean, so fouling wasn't the issue. Not sure why it stovepiped on a 3" shell. My complaint was with the kickoff system. You can hear it "boing" like a pogo stick every shot. I'm sure you would adjust, but it's fairly annoying. I'm still debating, but likely putting my money into a Benelli Super Vinci instead.

I'd say Mears has fired a few rounds down a shotgun. Very impressive shooting while moving on a bike and skateboard

Meh, those two guys are ok, I guess. Ha ha

I couldn't imagine what they could do hunting, wouldn't be a long hunt if the birds were flying!!

Was is lubed properly? That's a lot more important than being clean.

My experience with them has been mixed. I had one that had to have the trigger assembly replaced. At my cost. Still don't know what happened. The gun wouldn't load the next shell at times. My sporting gun was an Xcel. Needed a part & it took 2 months for it to get here from Italy. Another guy I know had issues with his xtreme. We both shoot lots of rounds, but I gave up on the A400 series.

Bought one in 2014..Good..Couldn't decide if i wanted a Benelli Legacy or Beretta, liked the feel and way the beretta X handled. Used for dove season at the split of waterfowl season i blew out the barrel on my Benelli Black eagle and had to use my Beretta the rest of the season including 2 spring hunts in Arkansas, this is the wood model. NEVER Missed a beat.Shoot 2 3/4 3" and 3 1/2" through it, only thing little rough on the wood, not Beretta fault.

Love my A400 xplor 20. Haven't shot it much because I've only had it 2 weeks but the 125 I put through shooting sporting clays were great.

Yes it was lubed properly. This guy is particular with his guns and cleans "/lubes them after every outing.

Had mine in North Dakota for two weeks last November. Flawless and absolutely loved the action and recoil.

I keep hearing about the jamming issues quiet a bit on online reviews for the a400. I have always been a benelli guy so I was also thinking the sbe 2 since I don't hear of that many issues besides rust. And the berrtta has the rust resistant metal. I'm still torn between the a400 and sbe2 or super Vinci

I'm beretta over Benelli. The worst failures I have seen in a duck blind have been a Benelli and a Remington 1100. With that being said I have two brand new 400's that I haven't been too happy with but its my fault from not cleaning the original packing grease out of them and will report back as soon as I clean and lube them. My beretta 390 has been flawless and have only cleaned it two or three times in 15 or 16 years.
