If you have never fished the islands, it can be one of the best trips ever. even a "slow" day is usually decent by normal standards.
There are few sharks,,,,

I did things a little different than most when I went. We had an odd number of people so I volunteered to fish solo in one of the little boats (which I preferred). I had never been on a trip like this so brought along a cast net and a bait bucket. The majority of time I ended up beaching the boat and fishing the cuts coming in from the surf with mullet I caught with the net. I absolutely massacred the redfish! I also caught a bunch of 3-5 foot sharks and busted off a pile of bigger ones! Also caught the biggest trout of the trip doing this and won the trips big trout pot! I fished the flats some but loved my time in those cuts!

Almost forgot if your a beach bum type and like picking up shells give that surf line a walk! I found some beautiful stuff! Not sure how things are now after the storm though....
