Fixing Tapatalk issues

Just thought I'd throw this out there for those, who like me, from time to time have issues with Tapatalk connecting. Instead of uninstalling and re-installing there is a trick that works the majority of the time when my internet connection is fine, but tapatalk craps out.

Tapatalk keeps a cache of data stored on your phone. I'm guessing there is some old credential/crap in there that causes connection issues. Clearing out this data/cache is faster than re-installing.

On android go to Settings->More->Application Manager->Tapatalk.

My phone gives me the option to clear data or clear cache. Clearing the cache has restored my ability to connect.

Whats happening is the app cannot process the cache unless its small. Hence why TapaTalk uses up more memory then using a browser.
A good while back I posted my finding on this issue. And it looks like they have yet to fix it.

Mine hasn't given me any problems in a year or so, but when I did I would clear cache and data and it would work again. However now I would have to remember the tapatalk login as well as TBH.
