I went to upstate NY several years ago, north of Albany. It was absolutely beautiful and I needed a jacket in the evenings. Enjoy !

True! I don't go for that either. Many happy middle grounds do exist though! With seasons and summers that don't burn stuff into dry tinder.

X3 two places I've never had a desire to go New York and California well maybe the redwood forest in Cali but nowhere near the south

Did you go to race in Saratoga?

No I wouldn't spend the winter here either. Noi much moves then. I couldn't even drive up the driveway. I am from Wisconsin though, all be it 35 years ago.
