If we "attempt" to stop unauthorized undocumented workers at our border then why dont we pick them up at 7-11, the post office, home depot's where they hang out waiting on day labor jobs????

During my morning commute thru Dallas, I pass several locations where the day laborers wait for work.

The ones that work are the good ones mind you. It should be the ones that sign up for government assistance that we try to weed out. The ones that work for a living are just doing jobs that lazy people don't want to do, ie driving tposts, roofing, yard work, picking fruits and vegetables in the fields, and miscellaneous jobs people ask them to do. Just my $.02

technicalities ,, thanks to some people the police can not even question them about their status,,, pretty much have to be a suspect in a crime just committed and that does not include being an invader from another country

This sounds really good, but nobody wants to pay the cost of services that no illegals would bring on. Lets face it, we exploit the heck out of it.

I like having my yard mowed for $35. that price would be almost double if it were actual citizens doing it.

Illegal immigration is the equivalent of foreign outsourcing, for work that can't be done outside of america.

Loitering... that should be enough to make contact and ID the individual.

I agree that at least they are looking to work instead of sitting around doing nothing but sucking down a govt check but whats the point of having initial stop/check points if they can just hang out in open sight without any concern of being deported.

The border patrol / customs picks them up and gives them a bus ticket to your towns!!
The entire US is a sanctuary. According to a story I read in the local paper, the BP is catching between 250-400 people PER DAY! Recently they caught 750 in one day!!
