Best way to sell a used vehicle?

I need to sell a truck and was wondering the best way to reap the most I can?
I thought about carmax but feel I will be lossing to much through a dealer.

Carmax was just as competitive as anyone else we went to. Top that off is Henna Chevrolet pays you 500 more than the carmax offer no questions asked. Sold both of my wife's last 2 cars this way. Each time they sent us a check. Works good, unless your looking for top dollar. We were just looking to get out from under them.
