    Skeet score

Went and shot skeet for the first time today. Was part of a benefit and had a blast. Can really be something I get into. It was a 100 bird course over 12 different stations. It was the white course at Fossil Pointe if yall are familiar with that specific place. Anyways, most were true pairs with a few report pairs. I shot 61/100. I didnt figure it was too bad considering first time.
Whats yalls usual score? How is Elm Fork?

If I went now I'd lucky to shoot that good. Shot daily as a kid. Was fortunate to have a high/low house in yard. Shot low 90's most of the time. Neighbor outshot me daily and he was in his 60's. Wish I still had my gun. Not even sure on the model but it was a Beretta semi auto that I slid the barrels down a tube and could shoot 12-20-28 & .410 and all weighed the same

I hit 81 the first and only time I shot sporting clays. A lot of guys hit less than me. A lot hit more than me too. I was bored after the first 50 pigeons.

Sounds like you mean you were shooting sporting clays. Hard to give a average score on a course due to them all a being different. On my local course I can usually shoot a round and be about 95%ish. Some times better some times way worse.

You ever watch the movie the Matrix? Be careful what pill you swallow, one could darn near bankrupt you........

            It is fun though!

Fossil Pointe is a cool place. Both Maryam and David are first class. Usually the white course is a little tougher so a 61 for your first time is pretty solid, Congrats!

Sporting clays are a lot of fun. I shoot in the mid to upper 80's

61 on that course is solid for the first time(or the 10th). I shot yesterday on the white also. I shot a 87 and felt like it should have been much better. I'm usually somewhere in the lower 90's.

                    Hully,

Good job. Score definitely is subjective. Weather and other conditions play a lot in sporting clays. I've shot a tournament before and then came back a few days later to practice and it seemed like the targets were completely different.
Congrats, sounds like you had a successful first shoot.
