Destin Beach House Rentals - Summer 2016

We are looking to book a beach house on the beach in Destin for the summer of 2016.

We have never been.

What rental places have you used? What beaches? I want to take my boys fishing as well so any info on that is helpful.

Any other information is appreciated.

Not a beach house, but these condos are hard to beat. They're east of Destin on 30A in Blue Mountain Beach. Very isolated yet just minutes from anything u may need. Headed there next fri for 7 nights. This'll be our 3rd yr to stay there. http://adagiogulfrentals.com

Not a beach house either but we stayed at The Waterscape on Oakaloosa Island in Fort Walton. Nice place. More than just a condo. Multiple pools, kiddie play area, bar at the pool, gym, hot tubs, grills and a pvt beach. Check out www.VRBO.com for deals. Fort Walton is cheaper than Destin and Destin is only 5-10 minutes down the road.

Destiny by the sea $6000 for a week. We have rented one for the last 4 years and you will not be disappointed. They go up to $14000 or $16000 a week but they are ocean front with elevators

We stayed at a house in a gated neighborhood. Didn't realize how nice the private beach was until we walked down to the public one. Boardwalk from the house to the beach. Sandestin I think was the neighborhood. Spendy but not terrible when split 5 ways amongst family. Worth every penny
