    Cerrito Prieto Ranch

Does anyone know of the deer quality on this ranch? Has anyone ever hunted there before?

It was a paradise the last time I stepped foot on it 10yrs ago. It's been through several corporate leases and a new owner since we were on it. Incredible native genetics and great range management. If the mature end of the herd isn't there, it will come back around for sure. (2) 180's were killed the year before we switched ranches and you could kill a 140+ with your eyes closed it seemed. Unfortunately, I can't comment for recent years because they never advertise the ranch name in contests for as long as I've known about the ranch.

Went on a TBH hog hung on the CP many years ago. It had (I am sure has) outstanding deer.

                X2 I seent it

It's an amazing ranch but like Justin I haven't been there in over 10 years, I highly doubt it has gone backwards though.

My son and I are going on 10/09 with the Texas Youth Hunting Program. I will be sure to take lots of pictures and let you know what we think.

That name sounded familiar, I thought we had done one there. That was a LONG LONG time ago!!! A TBH group hunt, times have sure changed!

From what I remember that was a very nice ranch!

Hunted there several years many years ago. Anyone know if they still offer private javelin hunts?

                      Contact info?
