Here is a sample trajectory chart showing a 20/30/40 yard zero.

You see that your arrows actually cross 0 at 7/5/4 on the way up and 20/30/40 on the way down.

Yes this is the same thing I was thinking at some point the arrow has to fall and intersect just like a bullet does! Looks like 2 yards will have it dead if not close to 50 yards good stuff!

jjaimes, once you are shooting consistently and feel good about your ability go shoot some 3D targets. Or better yet invest the money in a good 3D deer or hog target with replaceable vitals. Doing that probably helped prepare me for actual hunting situations better than shooting at a target. A good life-sized 3D target is absolutely worth the money.

Sportsman, or anyone that knows. Does the method you explained work with single pin sights? Like the Trophy Ridge pursuit? I have that site and need to sight in and match it to the right tape . Thanks OP for the video.. Great info

Yes it does My sight is a single pin Black Gold sight Ambush Ascent! It works perfect as you can see in the pictures I posted!

Hey thanks for the advice I actually do have a Rhinehart 3d Buck target and as you mentioned, it has helped me a lot when practicing at my farm. It helps when I'm practicing with it at longer ranges so now that I shoot close I feel much more comfortable with my form and shots!

Cool stuff. I like to paper tune first then french tuning. Takes me very minimal tries to get my vertical alignment then horizontal alignment before I'm done. I sight in at 20 then 60 yards on my HHA King Pin Tournament Edition. Last year had the Optimizer. Same thing. Very simple to set it up. Good luck this season.

I have not watched the video yet. But I always use the distances below to sight in new sights.

7 yards = 20 yard pin
5 yards = 30 yard pin
4 yards = 40 yard pin.

I tried this but I just blew through my block target
