My target is always on the ground. Like mentioned above a few posts up, it gets you very close if not dead on

That's why I shoot at the other distances. Never had a problem.

I tried this method and it didn't work out for me but whatever works for you, for me, or anyone else is good as long as we reach the same goal which is stacking arrows and killing big Bucks!!

Or get the Trophy Ridge React!! Sight in two pins, the rest are set for you. It really does work! It's science lol.

                Sportsman,
How fast (chronograph) are you shooting?

It should work. Same principle as bullet plane vs cross airs. When sighting in a new gun 25yds should be close to 100yds

Levi. Way smarter then me. But what he is posting is just a step in many. He is fine tuning his sight. But what the Video does not say. Is you have to have your center shot. Set.

To the op. Before doing his sight adjustment. You need to do a walk back tune. Same thing he's doing but you only move your rest and you shoot a different yardage while shooting. Once you have the arrows in a straight vertical line. Then you do the second step. This is what he just posted. Other then it's at a yardage you pick for your max range. 20 or 60. Dosent matter. You adjust your sight to hit the line.

The first pic. Where you have three arrows in vertical line. If your shooting at the line at 20 yards. And your arrows look like what you have in that picture every time. Your center shot is off.

But I would also like to say. If you have not been shooting that long. You are way above the curve. Good shooting

Yes I agree with you as I mentioned in an above comment to another person that you have to tune your bow properly before even attempting to fool with your sights. What you see at the 20 yard line was just for the sights that has nothing to do with how my bow is tuned. My archery shop got it tuned for me and afterwards I checked it on paper and I walk back tuned my bow. Thanks for your input! I knew nothing about shooting a bow or hunting with one before April even though I had been bow fishing but its a totally different type of shooting when you have a sight, lighter arrows, etc. In April I went to my local archery shop and picked out a bow and fell in love with the sport! I've been researching everything about hunting with a bow, practicing, tuning, etc. However most importantly, I've been not only studying archery but I've been practicing and shooting since April working on my form and technique! I hope I continue to get better and also to get my first mature buck with a bow this year instead of a rifle!

Very interesting. So let's say you're sighting for 40 yards. You want to zero your 40 yard pin at 4 yards?

Here is a sample trajectory chart showing a 20/30/40 yard zero.

You see that your arrows actually cross 0 at 7/5/4 on the way up and 20/30/40 on the way down.
