Anyone use the aftermarket starters versus the one you get from the dealership?

Which aftermarket brand is the best?

I've never used either on my atv's. I always get them rebuilt.

I bought a starter for a 1999 Honda fourtrax off Amazon and it worked fine. Seems like if was 50.00 plus or minus. That was 2 years ago and it is still going fine.

Most of the times its just the brushes in the starter. Also most of the time you can just tap on the starter with a hammer, 2x4, heel of your boot. etc and it will turn over. or just pull the pull rope a qtr turn and itll normally work.
