K2 is a pretty good place to eat. La Casona has decent mexican food. For fishing you'd have to run down to Matagorda.

Run down to the park at the mouth of the Colorado and you might be able to catch a fish or two.

Solid food, good chicken fried steak. I love that old fashioned salad bar with pea salad!

If you make it down to matagorda for the evening, fishing can be good from the jetting and the River Bend makes a good burger. As a bonus, you can watch the pigs across the river. They have a feeder set up and throw them their slop from the restaurant.

Yep. If you make it down to Matagorda, River Bend is my go to spot to eat there.
