Curtintex, myself, my mom and the twins are heading West on an epic road trip, he's driving and I'm responsible for feeding us. Today our stopping point is Canyon, Texas, we will be traveling through Waco, Abilene, Lubbock and all points in between. Please recommend must eats or any place to check out!

Feldmans diner is in canyon is alright... Drive up to amarillo and eat at coyote bluff

We will be coming through Amarillo and down 287 through DFW and I45 back home on the return trip.

In Abilene you could detour down to Buffalo Gap to Perini Ranch Steak House. If that is too far out of the way try Lytle Land and Cattle Steak House. Both are great.

We are in the RV, it only took four hours to get out of Porter

A little out of the way, but from Waco, go up to Glen Rose and just west of Glen Rose is the Loco Coyote.

If you haven't passed Strawn yet, stop at Mary's and get a chicken fried steak. It's about 3 miles north of I-20 but soooo worth it. You won't want to eat again for a little while after that.
