Since the other thread has gone to crap because of a couple knuckle heads, what are yall's opinions about Kendall Jones? Hold on, keep reading, we're not talking about her looks. We're talking about her as a person. She's a bowhunter from Texas, she may be a TexasBowhunter.com member, but who knows? So keep it civil and try not to get this thread derailed.

Heres my opinion. I follow her on Facebook. She's constantly posting hunting pictures and is passionate about wildlife no doubt. She has taken a lot of heat and many, many death threats. There are (or were) pages on Facebook dedicated to talking crap about her, "wanting her shot with a bow and arrow", "skinned alive", etc. You get the point. Her good far outweighs the bad. But does anyone else think she goes a little over board sometimes and does it for attention? She definitely makes liberals mad which I like, but do you think she's a good face for the women hunters? (Again not about looks lol)

I don't keep up with her that much, or anyone else for that matter, but I don't have an issue with her. Seems like she's just doing what she enjoys. Not much different than me posting up some S. Texas trail cam pics or whatever.

I believe she is a very fortunate young lady to be afforded the opportunities she has had to put a positive spin for women hunters. It is just very sad that as our society grows so does the peta type crowd.

I don't follow her or anyone/thing on the book of faces but do hear about it from time to time.

At first, I thought perhaps she's looking to make a name for herself in order to break into the Outdoor community as a profession.

Now, I don't know and honestly outside of times like this when she's at the TTHA shows don't really hear much about her.

If she is trying to market herself for a career, I'm fine with that, just don't over do it and make us all look bad.

don't know her personally, but she is definitely coming off as a "look at me" type. Quite a few pictures with her trying to say how horrible she looks, which we all know is a plea to get folks talking about her looks. That being said, not my circus, not my monkeys. If she likes doing it, that's her prerogative

If she was 50 pounds heavier and wore less make up, she wouldn't even be a blip on the radar. But because she is young, attractive and hunts, she has become a talking point. And it displays exactly how polarizing social media can be.

People who have never met her, know nothing about her, or probably never will ever be in the same room as her, are either willing to support her to the end of days, or want her gone with much haste.

Personally I hold no opinion either way. My daughter who is at tech now, says she seems like a nice enough young lady, but they travel in different circles. Not that is good or bad, but it is the way it goes.
