                    Also, you need to know what the fruit looks like that the tree produces. Obviously if the tree produces pecans, there is a good bet that it is a pecan tree haha. Anyway, once you have all of that info (leaf structure, shape, texture, fruit, flowers. bark etc.) you can use the dichotomous key on this website to figure out what kind of tree it is: http://dendro.cnre.vt.edu/dendrology...state=TX&zone=
                    It is fairly simple to use and very accurate.
