28 points should have been enough to win that game. Defense was porous.

This game is easy to understand. The Falcons for whatever reason came out with the wrong game plan. They figured out that they didn't have to worry about a down field threat and started piling up in the box. It's a team game and no matter how bad A your offensive line is you'll get stopped when you're one dimensional in the NFL. Hopefully the defense gets a few pieces back in the next couple of weeks and the Cowboys can stay in contention til Romo and Dez get back. All this next man up is coach speak crap! Just hang around and get into the playoffs as close to full strength as you can. I hope they can anyway.

Defense didn't show up in the second half and the inability to still get pressure on the QB needs to get fixed ASAP. Weeden obviously isn't the answer if they are not even going to attempt to throw it down field.

A little hard to understand why they wouldn't try some deep passes. No doubt that a guy who could throw a baseball 97 mph has the arm to heave a football as far as needed.

Defense **** the bed. The offense did enough to win except for that stupid *** interception. The momentum shifted there.

Can't grind out a game with 8 men in the box against 5 olinemen and a TE..... Even with DeMarco.... But then the Oline lost its edge in pass protection in the second half as well. No way is this Weedens fault.... It's a teams fault.. And coaching.

Can't say I aggree man. Both O and D played very well IMO. The Falcons came out in the 2nd half and took advantage of Cowboys weakness which was not being able to go deep. Freeman ran like a semi truck and Jones did what he does to most teams. I still think Dallas played much better than last week which was sloppy. Don't count this group out cuz the D is only going to get better!

OT:looks like the Steelers QB might be out for awhile.

Dallas did a decent enough job to win this one in the first half. Dallas got out coached and played in the second. Simple Atlanta did a better job of adjusting to the game in the second half than Dallas.

The only deep receiver they have is Williams, from what I saw they threw to him twice and both passes bounced off his hands. I'd be afraid to throw it to him too.

I'll change my quote here. Dan Quinn went in the locker room at halftime and fried some falcons arses UP. They came out and whipped and spurred Dallas like a rented mule.

^ Thats no joke. Why didn't Randle get more touches in the second half?

Should be an interesting game next week. Saints suck but they are gonna fight hard to stay away from 0-4.

They are also ranked 6 in the league for rushing yards allowed, so Randle and McFadden should be able to control the offensive tempo.

Because the Falcons loaded the box with 8 guys and shut the run game down. I'd like to have have seen more McFadden honestly when the yards got tougher to come by.

Needed to stretch the field with some deep passes to the wide outs. They never let Weeden try to throw deep.
