    how does p.s.i affect n.f.l

how does the p.s.i of a football affect the defensive lineman from getting to the quarterback, how does he p.s.i of a football affect the defensive backs from intercepting a pass, how does the p.s.i of a football affect the abilties of a defense player from making a tackle.....if the p.s.i of a football gave a q.b a advantage and it is illegal then doesnt every receiver with a pair of gloves on have a advantage over a defensive back who doesnt were gloves, after all the gloves have designs that make catching the ball easier, doesnt the center have a advantage over the nose guard because he has gloves on and makes it easier for him to control the snap. if tom brady got a 4 game susp for using a under inflated ball then what does aaron rodgers deserve for using a over inflated football.. the whole thing is stupid. the n.f.l seems like it is trying it hardest to get people to stop watching the games. players using drugs, beating woman, abusing animals and other illegal stuff dont get this much hate,,after all a cowboy player drove drunk and killed a team mate and he didnt get this much hate,,,seems very stupid

It makes a difference in throwing, catching, and handling the football. Especially in freezing or close to freezing temperatures.

doesnt make it harder for the defense to catch the ball or from making a sack or a tackle

It affects the game, no doubt. Cheating is not winning. Its the Patriots anyways, who cares?

That is beyond the point. He cheated, broke the rules. Ball pressure has no difference with tackles or sacks but I bet it makes a difference of balls stripped and dropped passes on the offense which changes the odds.

If it didn't have an advantage there would be no rule designating a set PSI....

It does give the QB an advantage and cheating affects the integrity of the game much like PEDs do. The NFL goes to great links to protect the integrity of the actual game and its play. With that in mind, Goodell said he gave him a similar suspension as a 1st time offender of PEDs... I'm good with it personally.

specifically it lets the QB get a better grip on the ball, which in turns means more control, he is a cheat and he got caught, there is no reason to defend him

it does not matter how good he is or how bad he is, he IS a cheat, personally i think he deserves more than 4 games,,, a lot more,,, more along the lines of pete rose!!! he did not cheat he gambled, and got severely punished,, cheater got a slap on the wrist..........

think about increased accuracy of throws, less dropped passes, less fumbles

It makes creating fumbles more difficult....offensive advantage.
It makes the ball easier to throw.....offensive advantage.

                            So far...offense 2 defense 0
