Bow shop and bow techs ?

I was wondering how often does a customer dry fire a bow in the shop? Is it once a week, once a month, once a day etc? And how do u all handle the situation lol

I've seen more and more shops with zip ties on bows to prevent this

customer dry fires the bow he usually buys it .... no questions asked since there are signs throughout most archery shops stating this

This is funny this was brought up. I was over at Trophy Hunters in Kountze today and my son was wondering what the weird blue release was for and the owner Mr Gary went on to explain how this very same topic can happen with customers

I try to keep zip ties on mine.If someone wants to shoot one we set it for them..We try to do what we can to keep it from happening.

With over 800 bows in stock, we aren't zip tying them. Hunting/target bows get dry fired very rarely because we will take you straight to the test range if you're interested in pulling it back. If you attempt to pull one back, we will advise otherwise. No big deal.

Now, our rental fleet is another story. They get dry fired daily but are rarely damaged due to low poundage.

Shop I ise, will not allow any bow inside the shop to be drawn without an arrow nocked and release on, and in designated area. No reason for a dry fire
