David Rowsey and Aubrey Black would both be excellent choices.

Kevin Cochran will head down there. He can put you on some fish.

I've fished with Aaron Loomis he is heck of fisherman also.
I'll put Joey Farah in there as well. He has been on some really good fish.

I fish with Rowsey at least once a year. I highly recommend him, but also highly recommend you read his website and have an understanding of his conservation views.

Freddie Lynch, I can't pull up his page here at work. He speicilizes in fly fishing for reds in Baffin. He stays booked but you can try him out, mostly local professionals use him.

He can but he is not a guide for everyone, if you want to strictly wade with lures and release all fish and have a good chance at trophy's then he is your guy.

That's true, I fish that way anyway so I like going with him. He's not for everyone though, that's for sure.

                      Cochran NO. . . . .hes definitely not for everyone . . . . . He's a complete and total jerk. He can catch fish . . . he's condescending and doesn't suffer any questions very well.

That area has a lot of great water and a lot of great guides. Me personally I'd fish with peterek when i go again.

If I remember right, peterick fishes matagorda this time of year. You will definitely be in good hands fishing with him in the winter time. If you want to fish with him you have to book him way in advance. You can also fish with one of his guides, Preston Whitley. I personally would wait to go with peterick.

Im a guide myself but not one that strictly targets trophy fish and not one that fishes baffin. Main reason is I don't know it very well due to never taking the time to do so.

With that in mind I will book Chad in the near future for knowledge and for the experience. The dude puts customers on close to 100 trophy trout every year. Thats trout over 28 inches. Thats amazing to me. I have heard he's booked up 2 years in advance.

lol...did you not read my website or hold up a minute what did I just say...lol

I agree he is not for everyone and after Sean and I fished with him I would not rebook and that with me catching my first 30"er with him.

Next trip is with Chad Peterek, he is constantly putting his clients on big trout.
