    EMT Interview and Testing

I have an interview on Thursday with a local provider to provide part time coverage during special events in Arlington. I'm not changing careers just want to keep up on my skills. Our local community doesnt offer enough variety to gain much knowledge.

Being a new EMT what can expect to see regarding testing????

It really depends. Are they testing your fitness? Or are they doing a paper test kinda like your regular tests you've taken or are they doing a hands on skills test?

Not sure.... I can handle just about anything they could throw at me... Here is the email I recieved to confirm the interview.

"You are scheduled to test and interview on Thursday, 7/30/15 at 2:00p for the Special Events / Part Time EMT Positions we have in our Arlington Operation. Please remember that this will be an interview, should you pass your exam, so please dress appropriately".

Kinda sounds like it's just a paper exam to test knowledge.

Interview was simple. 80 scenario questions and 25 psych based questions. I assume that I passed because im scheduled for the physical agility test next thursday. Had to shave my leg for the tox screen. Im not a furry guy so it took most of my lower leg to have enough of the requested amount!!!
