Good Eats in Destin, FL

Ill be headed to Destin this weekend for a week, and was wondering if anyone had some good places to eat there aside from the normal big chain restaurants. Thanks and GigEm!

Boshamps is awesome, i always get the red snapper with mashed potatoes and pecans. Go check out .
Louisiana Lagniappe is a small place, but great food for a nice meal.
The Back Porch is my all time favorite and could eat it every day.

All 3 of these are must eat's and we do it every year!

We didn't eat out much there. Had AJ's one night. Was ok. Not worth the money IMO. I have heard very good things about Boshamp's. For a burger, Fudpuckers was good. Went to Shakes for dessert. One thing I learned is that Destin is nice for an early bird. I don't think many people stir before 10 or so in the morning. And as always, HOOK EM \m/

Good Eats in Destin, FL

Louis Louis' on 98 east of Destin is one of our favorites. Doesn't catch the crowds that places in town do and the food is way better than the franchised crud. Several places along 30A as well. Little bit of a drive, but again good is better and less crowded. '98 Whoop.

Fudpuckers was the only place we actually ate when we were there last week. Wait times were crazy everywhere but we stayed in pretty populated areas.

The two best I had were the original Dewey Destin's for good hole in the wall seafood. Breakfast at The Donut Hole was excellent. We also ate at Pompano Joe's near our condo and it was good.

McGuire's is good. a little down the road from destin is baytowne, they have a little boardwalk that is really cool. we ate at the ACME Oyster bar. pretty good.

pompano joes , also dewey destins, and boshamps, and boat house oyster bar were all pretty good eats when my wife and I were there last week!
