No, it takes time to heal. I broke mine at each end...... It's ugly as all get out but it healed

I lost 1 inch of draw length from the bones I broke

Once it is healed do some therapy to get full motion back.
I did not and ended up with a frozen shoulder.

We had a tornado hit about the time I got motion back...... Not strength, just motion.
2 weeks on a chainsaw was good therapy..... Healed ok
