    fixed blade question

do you try to get your blades to line up with your fletching and if so how?

    #2
If you are shooting 3 blade it is easy- heat the arrow by the insert and then lay it on a flat surface and spin the broadhead blades to match the fletching.

      Be careful heating carbon.

I've seen people heat up the field tip while in the arrow but never the shaft itself.

I've never worried about trying to line them up.

Why? I think I understand the theory, but it's been my experience that it makes no difference. There seem to be so many other factors (at least in my shooting) to affect flight.

My 3-blade Muzzy's seem to fly the same as my practice heads and I practice with different fletchings (Blazer and standard).

            Maybe I'm missing something here.

Slick Tricks are some of the best flying fixed blades out there, and they are four blade broadheads (they don't line up for obvious reasons).

              I don't worry about it.

If your bow is tuned there is no need to worry about it.
