IMO, if you are going to do a locker in the rear, I would go with a selectable like an ARB or E-Locker. Aussie's and Spartan type lockers have a tendency to make some noise. The selectable lockers also give you the option of when to lock up and when not to.
As said above, the D35 is pretty weak and prone to breaking. I will probably be picking up a Chrysler 8.25 for my XJ. I have found several at the junk yards for ~$300 that already have 4.10's in them. All they would need is the locker. Unfortunately, that means I would need to regear the front when I do. I'm only running 31's at the moment, but would like the option of bumping up to 33's.
