    Rescued a BMC

This female Black Mouthed Cur mix showed up in our pasture 3 to 4 weeks ago. Some scumbag dumped her on our road out in the country. I don't know if I've ever seen a poorer dog - you can see every rib, most of the vertebrae and the pelvis right under the skin. Don't know that she'd have made it too much longer.

I've seen her hanging out with the cattle and she's followed me on the tractor when I was moving hay but when I'd get off the tractor, she'd take off running. My wife and daughter finally got her trust and caught her Sunday night.

We took her to the vet today and got her shots, wormed, heart worm test (negative!) and put her on flea/tick medicine and heartworm preventative.

Here's the "before" pics. I'll post up more after a month or two when she's fat and sassy.

Hanging close to Mama at the vet's office.

Relaxing in the pool - the water was clean when she climbed in.

                      She'll love you forever!

I had a dog in very similar shape show up on my door last October. She is now fat, happy, and sassy.
