    Best Truck tool box

I just got a new F250 and am looking to buy a new cross bed tool box. The one I bought for my last truck was a Universal Welding. It is a great box, but the new ones I looked at just don't seam as sturdy.
What are some of the good ones out now.

    Thanks George

Weather Guard and Rawson. Are top (2) in my book. The Ranch hand look pretty beefy as well. Good luck.

had a UWS for about 12 years. It was an awesome box. Very durable and never have any issues. I sold it because I wanted a black one just like it. The one I bought about 2 mos ago is exactly the same box I bought 12 years ago. Just as sturdy. ...it's just black. I will say the the Weatherguard boxes are really sweet, but they're nearly twice the price.

I don't know why but the new UW box I looked at today didn't feel as sold as my one I bought 6 years ago. Maybe it was just me.

Weatherguard for high end, best box available IMO.

BetterBuilt for more value priced, even though they have some expensive stuff too.

Not a fan of the ranch hand ones I've seen.

UWS still makes the list of good boxes though.

            Skip husky and kobalt.

Tractor supply if you want really cheap, but good luck finding one that isn't all banged up.

I have a black UWS diamond plate I took off my '12 F250 when I traded it in March.. The box is about 2 years old.. It's a low profile single lid box.. I haven't taken any photos yet but it's sitting in my garage. I have both keys for it also. I'd let it go for $150 if you're interested.

Hard to beat a UWS box. Had several of them over the years!

I appreciate the offer, but I'm so busy with work I couldn't make the trip. I need a box in the next day or two.

                              Weather guard, hands down.

We install these daily and have had several customers come back with a mangled box, but they never get inside. Super durable.
