What direction to face trail cam?

What direction does everyone face their trail cam to get the best pics? I can't seem to get the trail cams to get good pics at dawn and dusk. I'm thinking straight North will be my best bet so the sun is never directly facing the lens? Anybody have any suggestions?

North is the best to keep the sun out of the pics.

That's what I have been doing but I get a bunch of bad pics at dusk and dawn, but I think I'm going to quickcrete some fence posts in and aim them straight North.

Tposts work pretty well for hanging a camera on.

The reason why south isn't the best option is that the sun always skirts the southern hemisphere in the winter time. So, you'll get some sun and a lot of glare in southern facing pictures. Fix it and face north, no trouble.

What kind of trail cams? Some just don't do well at dawn and dusk. I have a cpl moultries that will switch to IR flash with too much light left and it whites things out.
