Last couple of shows have been featuring "Noah' - the one who has adopted an English accent. Carries a cans for aesthetic purposes, wears rubber boots with a nice overcoat etc. He has called himself an idiot savant. Last two episodes have focused on him beginning to date this girl. He tells his mom he thinks he has found someone to match his mental intellect. He has made no qualms about indicating how intelligent he is. Well he follows a very old courting process. After Date 3 he can write a letter. The handwriting of this guy was pretty bad (granted my handwriting aint the best but I don't propose to be a high intellect and genius. I mean it looked junior high level at best. He apparently is very well read. We she leaves him. His heart is broken (understandably so). So he talking to his Dad about his heartache and his biggest concern is that his mom will be disappointed about no grandkids. The moms top priority for these boys is to start shucking out grandbabies as soon as possible and as many as possible. To the point it's not normal. Almost like the mindset of back in the day when more kids were needed to help keep the farm functional. Only difference here is these people are not hurting for money. The editing process can only show so much but once you look at all the material items they keep accumulating under the radar is pretty evident.
Here is the weirdest part yet. As Bush dad is comforting his son. Noah reads him a poem about the breakup and then states he will add his heart to the collection. His dad looks puzzled and Noah pointed to a shelf in his shack that contains multiple jars filled with deer hearts that he says he does experiments with. I guess if they are truly living in the Bush then everyone needs a hobby but I have no idea what experiments he would be doing unless they have a lab somewhere in the property. I thought bear was the strangest but this Noah character was a sleeper.
They also bought this huge boat for $5k allegedly. No idea where they are getting the b money to pay for fuel on that thing. It looks every bit of 50' ling with two huge diesels. Was an old navy boat. Episode last night had an inspector come in and evaluate the boat which b they plan on using as a side business for transporting items in the Bush. The inspector came across a number of repair needs, hydraulic winches, replacing rooted hill.pieces etc. Still have no idea how they came up with the money to dry dock that monster of a boat.
We have had discussions in the past about this show and how scripted it is. But as I watch more I truly think these folks seen out there are some of what you see is really them.
