Build a blind with Ceder privacy fencing?

I tried to search for it but found nothing. I'm gonna build a blind using Ceder privacy fencing. Just wanted some ideas, or pictures to go off of. Anybody got anything?

they work great. I have gone to fence companies & lots of times they have sections of old removed fence panels laying out for public consumption. Little work to pull nails and cut, but well worth it.

make sure that wherever you put it that you plan on leaving it there for a while. the cedar is great but is extremely heavy. we have one about the same size as the one in the picture above and it takes a trailer and about six guys to move it.

I used roofing paper/felt to help darken up and weather seal.

Build one a couple of years ago. I also used roofing felt on the inside. Got off lease this year. Gave the blind away for $300 including the deerview windows.

Dang, 2 people can lift the stand I pictured and its framed with 2x4. I find that cedar is lighter than most treated siding.

I built one out of old cedar pickets and it worked well. I stapled black landscape fabric on the walls inside to darken

I put this together for about $40. I found some panels on the side of the road and had the platform already. It works great to take my boys with me. Click image for larger version

In the north country, one made of downed trees, branches, etc. Does the trick. If you make the base to last..it will do just that.

Maybe some touch up at the beginning of the season and it`s good as new. Course you can`t move those puppies.

Have some almost 10 years old. There have been times heavy (wet) snow, has put a hurting on some but that`s life.

Get your camo on and your......invisible. Almost.

AS mentioned put some weather barrier on the frame before you put the cedar on.

I had one and water did soak thru in heavy rains.
