I was in the same boat and wanted a boy, but wouldn't trade my daughter for a boy. She loves the outdoors , hunting, and fishing. Click image for larger version

I agree with everyone. I have an 8 yr old boy and 2 yr old daughter. The sayings momma's boy and daddy's girl are very true. They definitely wrap you around the finger.

Mine had me wrapped within 5 seconds!!! I love my pink shirts, her pink rifle, our daddy daughter only looks, the hilarious stories (even if she is serious), the balancing act when her mom comes into the room, the freedom I have when it is time to go hunting, our constant silliness, ..............did I mention she is 17 now! LOL!

We're also awaiting our daughter being born in September. Crazy the amount of TBH'ers on this thread who are as well.

Anyone else thought it was awesome that it coincided with the rut? haha

To echo others, thought i wanted a boy, but now i would not trade her for the world. Funny how listening to 'just fishing' by trace adkins has a whole new meaning.

I have an 11 year old daughter

And another one due in December

Little girls are something else man... As everyone has said, be prepared to be wrapped around her little finger

You will soon forget wanting a boy. I remember a feeling of disappointment when we found out we was having a girl. We later lost the baby late in the pregnancy. When we tried a second time a few years later I prayed for health. As fate would have it we had a healthy baby girl. She is now 7 months and I can honestly say it wouldn't bother me with 4 more girls.

As already stated, they wrap you around their finger and pull your heart strings daily. I have a 7 y/o and love her to death. She shoots bows and guns but is a very picky eater. I can't tell you how many make overs I have had and tea parties I have attended. They are great.
