    Form problem I need help

Sorry to post a bowhunting tread but, I have a form problem I need help with.

I can shoot 1-2 inch 20 yard groups (2 inch at 30 yards) all afternoon while standing. When I sit down, as if shooting from a ground blind, all my groups are 2-3 inches right (right handed shooter) and they open up to 2-3 inch groups.

    What am I doing wrong????

Hand position on the bow or your anchor has changed.

I would have someone video you while shooting from standing. Then while sitting. I had this same problem. This allowed me to analyze my anchor points and muscle movements and see what had changed and correct accordingly. i used my cell phone to video. Good luck!

This! I was doing the same thing, but a little worse than you. I went and shot with Greg (gmotsu23). He had me shooting 2.5" groups at 40 in about 30 min. It was all grip, anchor, and I was punching the trigger on the release. I would pm Greg. He can help you a lot better than I can.

Sounds like a grip/torque issue. The other thing that contributes is when draw length is too long. If you center the peep around the housing of the sight then the anchor should not matter as much. Randy ulmer(pretty good shot) even talks about a floating anchor for steep angle shots and weird body positioning. I am glad you are practicing this now.
