Beginner rope

So i am looking for a decent beginner rope to play with for my sister and mom to rope a dummy head.

This will be for our ranch, they really enjoy going to fly by night and roping the dummy head on the hay bale and will do it for a long time, and with my sisters birthday coming up i thought it would be fun to get them their own rope they can play with at the ranch during down time.

What would you recommend. Don't need anything to fancy as it will most likely never be used for anything other than dummy roping.

I would just get a simple XXS head rope or any 1/4" rope will do, you can pick one up from almost any feed store,

something softer will typically be easier for them but too soft like a cotton rope wont quite do

Anything XXS I like 3 strand instead of the 4 strand. 3 makes it a little easier to feel the tip of your rope.

IMO a head rope will tough for a beginner. About any 10-28 poly calf rope in soft or med soft is what I would do
