    Blue Indigo Snakes

Blue Indigo Snakes (Black Racers or Cow Suckers) - Any one seen these snakes? I heard they eat rattle snakes. Trying to upload pics right now. Sounds like a hunters friend to me. Just checking ......

we have them at our place by Eagle Pass and they do eat rattle snakes. They also get 12 to 14 feet long. Great snake to have around!

Yes - They eat rattle snakes there are immune to the rattlesnake venom. The picture of the one above is a baby. They get HUGE! The are normally very docile snakes and can be handled. But they are still a snake and they have a lot of very sharp teeth. They can and will strike / bite you and it will most definitely leave a mark. They also stink to high heaven!

If there is one, this is a good snake.
Send one to Trailboss and see how long it lives...

I wouldn't try to handle one. They have rather large teeth and will bite.lol Biggest I have seen was somewhere between 10-15 ft.
