    axis deer score

I got a question for anybody that knows. I am going on an axis deer hunt in the morning and God willing I kill a big one, who scores them. I have always saw gold and silver metal statues on other peoples kill. Any help would be great. I live in deep East Texas.

They are usually scored for Record of Exotics (ROE) and/or Trophy Game Records of the World (TGR). I'm not sure if they list the official scorers on their website or not. I think there are a few on here that are certified scorers. One over 30" length on the main beams is usually considered a tophy.

I am an official ROE scorer if you need any help. Bronze is 120-127 7/8 Silver 128-133 7/8 Gold 134+. It usually takes a 27-28" (main beams) to get bronze. Below is their info. They may be able to put you in touch with a scorer closer to you. Or closer to the ranch you are hunting.
