Do these Bows have any value?

1st bow


It is an Old Bear compound. Is there any value to it? Limbs seem to be in good shape.

2nd up




The second Bow is a Browning. It has a soft case and some old broad heads. Limbs seem to be in good shape. Does it have any value?

3rd Bow





The 3rd bow is a McPherson Eliminator. I am not familiar with this brand. Comes with a hard case, limbs seem to be in good shape. Is it worth anything?

I know they are older bows, but I can pick them up pretty cheap, just do not know what I would do with them.

If you don't know what you would do with them then pass

1st one is not worth much but the bottom 2 might make good bowfishing bows if turned down as low as the weight will go.

Figure they would bring $50 ea

Probably not. NOt much of a market for used older technology bow equipment. Mostly sentimental value for personal use...........but YES they all have some type of value but not much.

FYI - that McPherson was the predecessor company to Mathews

Matt owned McPherson Archery in the 80's and later started Mathews in early 90's

Just my opinion, the top bow will only be worth something to a collector, and their is not many who look for that bow. It's age has significance and design is prelude to our speed demon bows of today. When the desire to move past the recurve and longbow struck, that was one of the early answers. Other then that I would pass, unless you wanted to have a piece of history. The Browning I would agree maybe $50.00 on a good day, and the McPherson, was a top end when it was made, but like all old technology, has little use in today's times. Just fun shooters and "look what I have," for whatever that is worth to you.

Take it to a national ASA shoot and the older Mathews pros will probably fight over it.

That bear 4 wheeler is cool! Probably not worth much now but they were all top end when they came out.

We see them every day. No. Not specifically those but as stated above, they are everywhere.

I still have a McPherson king cobra.it's not worth much it's mostly sentimental value.
