Looking for a close place to dove hunt near DFW

I have considered the local business out of Frisco but just had no first hand info. I am the same as you though. Deer lease is 4 hours away so I only get to dove hunt once or twice a year.

I hunted for years in Frisco. Used to limit out in 30 minutes. Hunted the airstrip off main/Legacy by the fire station. They tore up the strip and started building houses...and screwed up my spot. I was literally 5 minutes away from my home.

Just what the title says, looking for possibly a TBHER that has some land locally and would be willing to let me come hunt, willing to pay and can also help with any manual labor or trade for a hog or doe hunt on my lease in Childress or i can take you on a duck hunt around here. Very responsible hunter and you won't even know I was there, I pick up all my hulls and trash.

Mostly looking for something local where I can come hunt on my off days, hopefully within an hour of Plano, Tx. My lease is too much of a drive for a one day hunt and I would rather not shell out $300 or 400 to business that overload their fields with hunters.

I might be chasing a dream but figured I would at least try!

Up 75 from Plano in and around Howe TX and also to the East you have DJ Farms, you can google them... Their Season price has gone up recently so I looked for alternates... Eventual signed up with a farm group out of Josephine that have 8,000 acres to hunt on, similar fields and ponds as DJ Farms but their price was cheaper @$150 for season. You can contact Nathan @ (214) 325-7203 for the Josephine, TX hunt... I live in East Plano and it takes 30 minutes to get to their fields, perfect ;-)

That brings back some memories.. I hunted there as well as the fields off of 423 just past the bridge.
