    A day I'll never forget!

I was sitting around the office today and had been itching to try some bass fishing all last week and thought you know what I'll give them a try today. I called up a couple buddies and off we went. It was hotter then all get out and we were catching a few fish up shallow and I kept saying "someone needs to try a deep diving crank" no one ever did. I pull up on a spot where I knew there was a huge drop off into the main lake with a flat above it and I thought the bigger fish had to be suspended waiting to come up. First few cast, nothing, so I cast a little deeper and bam my lure stops dead like it hits a tree and then shoots out into the deeper water to be spit out of its mouth moments later. Deflated but knowing there was one more real nice shelf on the dam I pushed on. As my buddies are packing up gear I make a few more cast and the BAM! This fish takes out like a scalded dog into the deep stripping 30 feet of line as she goes. We fight for a good ten minutes and were able to land the second biggest bass and a fish of a lifetime. She topped the scales at 11.4lbs........anyone know a good replica maker?!?!?Click image for larger version
