It was actually to be a 5 minute round that was set last week but they reduced it to 4 minutes but MLB this afternoon changed due to possible weather this afternoon/evening.

I like this format. 4 minutes is perfect. 5 minutes would have worn this guys out IMO.

It would be a huge mistake going back to the old format. I also think they had a blessing in disguise with the weather forcing them to shave a minute off.

Best part is we didn't have to watch every body take 3 pitches for every 1 swing.
