Just tried the magnet with my rambler. It stuck although not very firmly. Either way I get to fill up my Yeti with ice in the mourning, put nothing but liquids in it 3 to 4 times a day and dump out the ice at night.

If it has a low content of nickel, a magnet will stick to it.

It's not in a corrosive environment so no reason it should be high grade stainless like 316 or something along those lines.

A magnet will stick to a lot of stainless. If it was good enough stainless that a magnet wouldn't stick, well, it would cost so much that you wouldn't have bought it.
